| Education |
A service for which the main purpose is to provide education and care for children. Includes pre-school, primary school and high school / secondary colleges both public and privately operated. School crossing services are captured in this activity. This does not include vocational education such as the CIT, which are covered in other services for vulnerable people. |
| Child Protection |
Includes services provided under the Children and Young People Act 2008 by a member of the Children and Youth Services Council, a family group conference facilitator, a kinship or foster carer, a residential care service, a researcher for a research project, an authorised assessor or another person adminstering or exercising a function the Act or under a therapeutic protection order. |
| Counselling and Support Services for Children |
Includes all support and counselling services for children. |
| Commercial Services |
Includes entertainment or party service, gym or play facility, photography (including filming) service or a talent or beauty competition specifically for children provided by a commercial entity |
| Justice |
Includes an activity or service carried out in relation to a child at a justice facility or because of a sentence, detention, probation, parole or other order that could be made or imposed by a court. A justice facility includes a detention placce or another if a detainee is, or has been, directed to work or take part in an activity at the place, or any other place a child may be held in custody. |
| Child Accomodation Service |
The main purpose is to provide residential accommodation for children including overnight camps regardless of the length of stay. Also includes student exchange and home stay programs. |
