BUSINESS AND INDUSTRY LICENSING

The business and industry licensing unit provides a broad range of registration and licensing services to the ACT community.

The main areas of registration and/or licensing activity undertaken by this unit include:

• Registrations: business names, real estate salespersons, credit providers, finance brokers, motor vehicle repairers, brothels and escort agencies.
• Permits: liquor permits, tourism wine permits, non-profit organisation wine permits, outdoor cafe permits, vehicle verge display permits.
• Licences: charitable collections, real estate agents, stock & station agents, business agents, second-hand dealers, pawnbrokers, hawkers, employment agents, travel agents, motor vehicle dealers, motor vehicle wholesalers, car market operators, liquor, tobacco, X18+ copiers and sellers, consumer fireworks sellers, security masters, security trainers and security employees.
• Incorporation of associations.
