How do I renew a Business Name?

The Registrar-General will automatically send an Renewal of Registration Reminder to the proprietors at the last provided postal address.

If the registration is not renewed before the expiry date, the registration will lapse and the name may be available for registration by another party.

Renewals can be forwarded by mail to the Registrar-General's Office PO Box 225 Canberra City ACT 2608.

Alternatively, you can make an application to renew your registration in person by attending the Registrar-General's Office at:
