Welcome to the Office of Regulatory Service

The Office of Regulatory Services (ORS) was formed out of a 2006 - 2007 ACT Government budget decision to provide a single coordinated approach to regulation and enforcement of a number of activities previously provided by several areas of government.

The ORS undertakes licensing, registration and accreditation, dispute resolution and consumer and trader assistance, compliance and enforcement/litigation, and education.

Our vision is to strive to be professional and efficient point of contact between the community and a range of regulatory and support services undertaken by the Department of Justice and Community Safety on behalf of the ACT Government.
