A search of the A.C.T. Land Titles Public Register provides access to and copies of the following:
Customers wishing to search the register and obtain copies of documents may do so either over the counter at the Office of Regulatory Services or by on-line subscriber access.
Searches performed over the counter are limited to five searches. There may be up to a 24 hour delay for more than five searches requested at a single time. You will be required to complete a Request for Search upon application and pay the prescribed fee.
Regular customers performing searches the register may apply for an on-line subscription. To apply for this service you must complete and execute an On-Line Service Agreement and provide $220.00 for the cost of a security token.
If your application is successful the Registrar-General will execute the agreement, and arrangements will be made to provide you with your security token and access to the A.C.T. Government Network.
Each on-line subscriber holds an account with the Registrar-General and at the beginning of each month on-line subscribers will be able to download a statement/invoice for the searches performed during the previous month.
Accounts are required to be paid in full in accordance with thee On-Line Service Agreement on or before the 15th day of each month. Failure to do so will result in the service being suspended until outstanding payment has been made in full.
